ADVANTAGE OF OINP.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is a strategic economic immigration program designed to attract and welcome skilled workers, international graduates, and business immigrants to Ontario. Not only does it cater to individuals who have job offers in the province, but it can also assist employers in finding the skilled labor they need.
OINP creates a pathway for foreign workers with specific skills and experience to secure a provincial nomination, thus hastening their progress toward obtaining permanent residency. It also allows them to reside and work in Ontario for a period of up to two years.
If you’re unsure of how to begin your immigration journey, our team offers a consultation service where we can evaluate your unique circumstances and recommend the most suitable immigration options for you. Our focus on personalized solutions ensures that every client receives the highest level of service and support throughout their immigration journey.
When you receive a nomination from the OINP, you do not need to go through the hassle of obtaining a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before applying for a work permit.
Once nominated by the OINP, you can use this as a pathway to apply for permanent residency through the Provincial Nominee Program, which allows you to settle and work in Ontario permanently.
When you are nominated to OINP under the Express Entry stream, you can receive an additional 600 points in your Express Entry profile. This significantly increases your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
If you receive a nomination from the OINP, you are eligible to apply for a work permit while waiting for your permanent residency application to be processed. This allows you to start working in Ontario while you wait for your permanent residency status.
You have the options for various categories of National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. This means that individuals with different skill sets and occupations can apply for the program, making it accessible to a wider range of potential immigrants.
