ADVANTAGE OF AIP
The Atlantic Immigration Program provides a pathway for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from Canadian institutions to obtain permanent residence in Canada's four Atlantic provinces - New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
This program is open to both recent graduates of recognized post-secondary institutions in Atlantic Canada and skilled workers.
It doesn't matter if you are currently living abroad or already in Canada as a temporary resident - as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
If you’re unsure of how to begin your immigration journey, our team offers a consultation service where we can evaluate your unique circumstances and recommend the most suitable immigration options for you. Our focus on personalized solutions ensures that every client receives the highest level of service and support throughout their immigration journey.
When you receive a nomination from the AIP, you do not need to go through the hassle of obtaining a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before applying for a work permit.
Once nominated by the AIP, you can use this as a pathway to apply for permanent residency, which allows you to settle and work in one of Atlantic's provinces permanently.
The AIP also grants additional points in the Express Entry system. Being a part of the RNIP gives candidates extra points, thus enhancing their chances of securing permanent residence.
If you receive a nomination from the AIP, you are eligible to apply for a work permit while waiting for your permanent residency application to be processed. This allows you to start working in one of the Atlantic provinces while you wait for your permanent residency status.
You have the options for various categories of National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. This means that individuals with different skill sets and occupations can apply for the program, making it accessible to a wider range of potential immigrants.
